Newborns are just my favorite sessions to do. I find them so calming and I just love working with little ones and their family's. I had so much fun taking pictures for this family and she was such a good baby. We got a ton of set ups she was just so easy going. I can't wait for her 6 month session she has a first year baby plan with me. I love watching how much they change and grow in that first year it is such a special time.

Loved meeting this family for their maternity session. Little guy was so sweet and full of energy and loved the camera. He just jumped right in the picture taking. I recently photographed their little girl that they welcomed into the family yes I am a bit behind on blogging. Ms. E*'s newborn pictures will be coming up in a blog post :)

Newborn sessions are my ultimate favorite I just love how little and new they are. It is such a special time whether it is my clients 1st child or 2nd, 3rd, 4th..... The love you have for your new little one is just amazing and I love capturing it and all their cute little features. I book newborn sessions pretty far out in advance I have bookings as far out as December so it is never too early to get on my calendar. I only take so many sessions per month and I hate turning down newborn sessions. Here are a few of my favorites from the last couple of months since I have been slacking off on blogging :)

I first met this family when their little girl was born and told she would only live a month. I thought at the time that I would only be taking her newborn pictures which was so sad. Mia was born with trisomy 13 and her organs were not formed properly so they were not strong enough for her to survive especially her lungs. She beat the odds and lived for a year!! I took Mia's last set of professional pictures soon after she turned one she died this last Monday June 10th, 2013 in the evening. I was so sad to hear of her passing she was such a beautiful little girl and a fighter. I remember visiting her for the last time I could not stop staring at her as she slept in her crib she was so peaceful and just looked like an angel. I can't imagine how her family is feeling right now and just wish for them to have peace and healing. I know Mia is in heaven right now watching over them and that someday her family will join her Blessings~Krista
